As submitted to PJ Star’s Random acts of kindness:
“It was late in the last day prior to Thanksgiving. I’m ninety years old, and I was looking forward to a large celebration with family coming from East and West. Due to my own carelessness, I broke my hearing aid, and I realized I would not be able to communicate well with any of the family. This was very important to me, so I decided to see if I could find my audiologist at that late hour. It turned out she was answering the phone. She was using the holiday to move her business to Main Street in Morton, and yes, she would see me. She waited a couple of hours until I could get there and very cheerfully repaired my hearing aid at no charge. I had a great holiday with my family. Many thanks to Tessa of Morton Audiology.” ~ H.D.
